Introducing Nicole Ramirez
Hello my name is Nicole and it mean victory of the people, victorious one, and it origin is from Greece.
I am a photographer, author, as well as an artist. This is my first posting here in my blog, and over the next season, i will share from several different subjects so as to encourage you.  One goal I have and intend to accomplish is to share the trials, traumas, and just hard times that i have come through, that i made it this far and you can too.
So, let me start with as i said above....  My name is Nicole. I am adopted and found out as i was raised by my adoptive parents, that my name was given to my by my biological dad. I was born in the 50's, and even though now in the 21st century, when i was growing up there was not one other Nicole i even met, heard of, be it in my life or on television. I never heard the name Nicole anywhere at all.
I was raised by Mr & Mrs Stickler, my adoptive parents, and they adopted another kid, this time a boy, and now i had a brother. We moved ever so much and so i never really got established in a neighborhood, all but for once.
My dad acquired cancer and died of it when i was 11. We moved back to Pennsylvania, so he could say goodbye to his blood family before he died. After his death we came back to California, and settled in
San Diego County, the home of my moms sister.  We settled in an rural area of the Eastern County, and we stayed in one place, and it was nice to go to one school my entire high school years.
Of course i saw some cute looking guys, and sorta would follow them around. Another guy became aware of me, especially as i started to go to sports events to take pictures. I decided to take photography, for i needed credits to graduate, and that seemed different and maybe fun.  By the end of my junior year, i started dating this guy who was watching me. He graduated that year and 2 years later i then graduated.  He then moved and got his own apartment and i invited myself to move in. Within several months a very good friend of mine, had a dream, and because of the dream, she begged me to watch Billy Graham crusade that weekend on the t.v. (i had gone to his crusades growing up, and watched his crusades lots of times).  So the weekend came and it was December of 1977. I watched the crusade and ended up curled up on the floor crying at the end when the invitation to accept Christ was given. Well that very night, i couldn't go to bed with my boyfriend, i just KNEW it was not good anymore. So i slept in the walk in closet. Within the next week, i moved home with my mom. (she now only had a one bedroom apartment, and my brother had left home).  Within several months my boyfriend whose name was Charles, well he came to invite me out on a date once again, and shared with me he was saved now.  Within 5 months i was engaged, and we got married in June 1979.
I got pregnant nearly immediately and had a son in June of 1980 and named him charles as well. I now called my husband Charlie. The next 20 years were basically 2 more kids, who were boys, and several apartments too.
In 2002 my mom died, and within a year i started looking for my birth mom.  It was (I think) in 2005 that i found my birth dad. I found him for i had always known we had the new paper article in which it was shared the details of my situation..........
Details will be given in the next posting on my blog...........

What does it take to encourage you?

When one you/I are going through something we would rather now, what does it take to encourage/bless you?   So often we let a statement, an ugly look from someone or something that WE allow to take away our smile, or joy/happiness.  I have come through more than I can imagine, and I have actually come through it and am now out the other side.  I love birds, bugs and just creation in its beauty.  We presently are 2 months behind in many of our bills, our home is in a physical mess, for remodeling is at a virtual standstill until we get caught up with other financial obligations.  With saying this, today I was doing dishes and heard a birds call. It was one I hadn’t heard in some time and I went and grabbed my binoculars. It was a little pack, colony, group of WHITE CROWNED SPARROWS. I was elated and acted like a 8 year old kid getting an ice cream cone!  FUNNY! So with sharing the above information here is the delightful winged pleasure I now bless you with!

Peek A Boo

This little guy is a white crowned Sparrow playing peek a boo with me. Sparrows, yes are common, but don’t bypass a sparrow just because of this.  This little guy thought I didn’t know he was there.  Do you ever think you are hiding from someone, your friend or foe? Do you blend in with your surroundings?  Remember that even though you might seem to be quiet and to blend in, someone DOES care and is watching.  May it be a special someone, and may you be blessed this day with treasures dear to your heart.

What ailment/sickness have you ever battled?

My entire life I have battled many a sign or symptom of some kind of ailment from chest pains to mental breakdowns that I bounce back from within minutes. I have watched people that are perfectly fine, go off on some anger tangent of monumental proportions and then come back to ground level and act like all is fine. Others will say that one has an identity issue! I believe EVERY person that has been born has to come to grips of who they REALLY are, who GOD created and see that person when they LOOK into the mirror. I know ever so many when raised were told by someone repititiously something not true or nice and then when grown adults unknowingly believe that lie. We ALL battle some sort of addiction, be it something that goes into our mouth and belly or just want someone to listen to us. Personally I have been ignored ever so much by ever so many and when I am listened to or paid some attention, it ever so often is interrupted. I laugh (sincerely) for I love nature/creation and even have published a book, and sell my photography of that very subject! From birds to landscapes, and insects to flowers, and then I remember when ever so young that by the time I was three years old, I had traveled through nearly 40 states, and been is several national parks too. Growing up I remember moving several times before I was 10 years of age and nearly remember every plant/flower in every yard. I remember the bird nests, the species of butterfly. So what are your gifts/talents and why "might" they be what they are?  We read in the Bible, in the book of The Psalms 139!
Psalm 139 For the director of music. Of David. A psalm.                                                                                                                                                                                    1 You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. 2 You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. 3 You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. 4 Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely. 5 You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me. 6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain. 7 Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? 8 If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. 9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, 10 even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. 11 If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,” 12 even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you. 13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. 14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. 15 My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. 16 Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. 17 How precious to me are your thoughts,[a] God! How vast is the sum of them! 18 Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand— when I awake, I am still with you. 19 If only you, God, would slay the wicked! Away from me, you who are bloodthirsty! 20 They speak of you with evil intent; your adversaries misuse your name. 21 Do I not hate those who hate you, Lord, and abhor those who are in rebellion against you? 22 I have nothing but hatred for them; I count them my enemies. 23 Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. 24 See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting

After you slowly read this psalm, begin to realize who you really are, and when you do, you will realize who you are not, and now can be who God created you to be. I end with make a list of that which upsets you, makes you happy, what do we allow to affect our emotions. We are more than we imagine, and it's time to dig up, throw out, what is bad, and fertilize what is good.  Can you tell the difference?  Contact me and tell me who you are, what you love and who or what BUGS you?  Shalom!!

                   Let God Mold you~~
